This is not helpful as it does not address the issue I'm having.
I get none of the messages listed in that help topic, I have already been to apple help and looked. I have googled help etc. If I log into my email online it works fine. iMail is the problem. This happened suddenly. Earlier in the day yesterday it was working fine. Last evening it quit working, no updates performed, location wasn't changed, etc.
Have you tried the following --
1. Quite and restart the Mail program.
2. Restart your iPhone.
it's on my macbook pro. I have started and restarted iMail and the computer itself.
One possible cause of this behavior is a message with a bad/malformed email address (or some other technical problem) clogging up the queue. What happens if you remove all the messages from the outbox and try sending a test one, say, to yourself?
I'll try now
I deleted all messages. I tried my gmail with a test to another gmail and it went through. I tried my website email and that worked. I guess I will try one at a time and see which one is the problem. Thank you soo.... much! You were the first person who would listen to me!!!!
