Q: Safari not responding

Hi there, I get the wheel of death every time I try and load my safari. Safari wont load and I cant even get into the Safri menu "safari not responding" either is my email. Any ideas how I can remove cookies without going through Safari? Also I keep getting pop up windows asking me for my keychain password, but the apps that are asking for my keychain I do not recognise so I don't want to put in my password. pressing cancel does not get rid of these pop ups.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Instead of copying to the Clipboard, drag the text to the Desktop to create a clipping file. Put that file somewhere where it can be read in the guest account. You could put in /Users/Shared or in the Public subfolder of your home folder. Switch to the guest account and open the clipping file. Copy the contents to clipboard and paste into a reply.

You would have to go up a level to the Users folder, then down into your own home folder.

Please sign out of iCloud in its preference pane and see whether there's any change. No data will be removed from the servers, and you can retrieve it by signing back in. That said, you should always have a current archive of the data for safety's sake, even if you don't sign out.

If you use iCloud Keychain, when you sign back in to iCloud follow one of the procedures described in this support article to set it up on an additional device.

when you say sign out of iCloud where do you do that?

That's where you do it, when it's working. The instructions are linked to my last comment.

Back up all data before proceeding.

Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

    ~/Library/Preferences/MobileMeAccounts.plist

Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select

Services Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)

from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. Log out or restart the computer and empty the Trash.

*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select

              Go Go to Folder...
