Q: logic remote iOS 7.1.2 Not connecting to Multiple Macs

Hi folks, I've logic remote 1.1.1 on iOS 7.1.2. iPad2.  iMac & Macbook Pro both running Logic 10.1.1 on OS X 10.10.3.

Remote will not connect on peer to peer network, bluetooth or wi-fi

I get the Connect window on the iPad and it can see either Mac.

I'm only using 1 Mac at a time obviously. But get same results on both.

Logic see the iPad and appears to connect as it shows as a control surface with in incoming and outgoing port numbers.

On ipad  I just get message that > "Logic remote was unable to connect to selected Mac. If this is first time you're connecting you need to approve on the Mac

Have deleted & re-added , delete preferences per Logic Remote doesn't connect to your Mac after update to iOS 8 - Apple Support

Next step is probably reset iPad Network settings and possible restore unless I am missing something obvious.

Many thanks for your help in advance

MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2010), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

I believe Logic Pro 10.1.1 requires LR 1.2.1 and iOS 8.x....

I just did a little test here with an old iPad 2 running iOS7 and it wouldn't connect to any of my 10.1.1 LPX rigs here... However any of my other devices running iOS 8 had no issues at all so yes, it seems that is a requirement when using LPX 10.1.1..... even though I couldn't find any specific docs highlighting this requirement...

Ah well.............. Somewhat frustrating Im sure...

Note: Im hearing that iOS 9 works a lot better on older iPad 2's than iOS 8 does currently, so maybe that will be an option in the future....

    Cheers..
