logic track won't stop , can't assign audio,crashes

Howdy, logic has begun to act crazy. first, when i save as, and try to assign audio it spins the wheel and crashes. which *****. so when i rename a different prerecorded song with the audio set where i want it occationaly the space bar won't stop the track for a while . also sucking. running a mac mini with 500 gig drive and a owc 500 gig mini stack external drive(for sounds). i have .

rebooted,disk doctored,disconnected my tascam us 600 mixer,checked for updates,am current on 10,10,3. I've run this rig for years no issues. anybody have a thought?
