What is the "squiggly" writing that takes the place of the author's name?

Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
It is supposed to be the Album Name. As to why its just a bunch of odd characters I cannot say. Are your album names written in a different language?
If you right click or control+click (for one button mice) on the Album and choose Get Info, does the Album Name appear the same?
It looks like either characters being misinterpreted because of a different character encoding set, or font corruption. What is the source of the files? I use an older iTunes and the Advanced menu permits limited modification of character encoding sets (but be careful because using the wrong one can result in track labels disappearing completely). If it is font corruption that needs to be addressed separately.
It looks like a bunch of repeats of the same character to me. If this is something ripped off YouTube by one of those mp3 services who knows what junk they have in the tags or what character encoding set they used. You will just have to edit all the labels yourself.
Thanks Limnos, I'll do that.
