MY Imac/iPad devices won't allow me to do a Bsck up due to insufficient storage. It states I require 3.2 Gb and I should try various options to meet my allowance and yet my iPad suggests that I have 4 Gb of storage spare, why then can I not backup?

TThese refs. don't help!...I have removed all my photo library from iPad settings/iCloud, but could it be because my photo library still exists in iCloud and won't be removed until after 30 days...and only then will I be able to backup my iPad?
IF I were to pay for extra storage, what is the procedure for cancelling this monthly payment if I were to stop using my devices?

If you were going to upgrade the storage space available, this article explains how to do it.

The downgrade will take effect after your current monthly or annual subscription ends.
