Can I use FCP 6.0.6 on OS 10.10.3?

I have a hard drive full of FCP files and software of version 6.0.6. I'm currently using Mac Book Pro with OS 10.10.3. What do I need to update so I can use these files and FCP again in my Mac.

Currently, FCP will not open. The last time I used FCP was in 2010. Things have changed, but what can I do to use this work again?

I have FCP 6 working on my Yosemite system, sort of... but I get all sorts of node errors, missing hardware / codec errors and the like. I'm not even sure that Soundtrack is saving my changes anymore. But all the programs open. You might try a reinstall? However, I think it is so old a program that it isn't able to keep track of resources and hooks anymore.
