Jun 23, 2015 8:23 PM in response to gail from maineby ssschmidt,As Gail pointed out, this only works on a computer. If you are attempting to use another iOS device, you would have to download the Find My iPhone App (Free download).

Jun 23, 2015 8:24 PM in response to GloriousRuseby Sillyboy5,Try to hold both buttons on your iphone for about 8 seconds untill you see the apple logo then let go and try again.
If this does not work reset your iphone
1.open settings
2. go to general
3. scrool to the bottom where you see reset
4. tap it
5. tap erase all content and settings

Jun 23, 2015 8:26 PM in response to GloriousRuseby GloriousRuse,To be more specific, I am signed in to both my apple ID and the iCloud from my computer. I do not have iOS on my computer, or the downloaded iCloud software, just the available website. I am DLing the software (oh so slowly) as we type. I do not have possession of my phone (hence the need to find it.)

Jun 23, 2015 8:50 PM in response to GloriousRuseby GloriousRuse,Also, apple support refuses to chat or e-mail on any topic not related to the iPhone...which requires have the serial number...which requires having the phone in my possession. And obviously calling them is rather difficult.

Jun 23, 2015 9:04 PM in response to GloriousRuseby gail from maine,Just to make sure - you had iCloud set up and signed in on your iOS device and you had Find My iPhone turned on on that device prior to losing it, correct?
Cheers,

Jun 23, 2015 9:18 PM in response to gail from maineby GloriousRuse,I cloud was most likely set up? I know I had to sign in for the app store, so I'm assuming yes? As for find my phone...that..is...a...prettty good question.
But realistically, isn't there simple way for apple to ping the location regardless? I mean, its a cell phone...

Jun 23, 2015 9:23 PM in response to GloriousRuseby gail from maine,OK, so what you are seeing when you sign into iCloud.com indicates that you never signed into iCloud on your device, which means you did not turn on Find My iPhone. So, tracking your device is impossible.
All you can do at this point is report it to the police:
What to do if your iOS device is lost or stolen
Sorry, and best of luck,
GB
