Q: How do I set up pace in fitness app

I set upfor a walking session. At end I can recall all details-elapsed tim, distance, calories, but pace screen shows __!__"MI

Have I missed a setting to activate pace please/

I don't know how it happened but the Pace figure now appears on the app on iPhone. May I assume that the letters MI that follow Total Distance is short for for Miles and when following Pace figure stand for minutes per mile.

You haven't missed a setting - as soon as you stip moving, the pace field blanks. However, if you've Stopped and Saved the exercise, your speed/pace should be in the Activity app on your phone

Many thanks for your reply. I hadn't saved the walk but now having done so I see all but pace which shows blank, on my phone.
Clicking on Workouts green circle pointing to right I get Active calories. total time, total distance, Avg pace _!_"MI, Avg heart rate.
Am I missing something obvious?
