Does the manufacturer say the scanner is compatible with what OSX version is on your Mac?
Does the manufacturer have and drivers for the scanner?
What OSX version is it?

Es, it a multi function printer. The manufacturer said there is no need driver to install for Mac.
OSX version:10.9.5

Some scanners/scanner feature in MFPs are just not compatible with a Mac and there is nothing you can do

Jun 27, 2015 2:36 AM in response to marcfoo91by Alberto Ravasio,You should access the MFP internal web server as administrator (default user ID admin, default password 1234) to be able to configure the scanning function the MFP is capable of (Scan to E-mail address, Scan to FTP destination, Scan to Network Folder destination, or Scan to Desktop destination).
