Mac OS X server 10.6.8 cannot load some windows XP roaming profiles

Hello,

In my new company I have found an installed mac Mini with Domain controller already configured and many Windows XP roaming profiles.

For a few years it was working fine but it's about 3-4 months now that when you try to login to some roaming profiles, the windows XP machine gives this error

"

Windows did not load your roaming profile and is attempting to log you on with your local profile. Changes to the profile will not be copied to the server when you

logoff. Windows did not load your profile because a server copy of the profile folder already exists that does not have the correct security. Either the current user or the Administrator's group must be the owner of the folder. Contact your network administrator."

It does not occur with all profiles. For exemple if I create a new profile through Workgroup manager it loads fine with no error.

Some other inactive profiles load also without problem. It only occurs with the profiles that are loaded daily and that users work on.

As I am not a Mac specialist, can anyone help me on this please?

Thank you in advance

Tim
