Ipod Touch Won't Charge or Reset

My iPod touch will show on the screen that it needs to be plugged in. When I plug it in to my computer, it says it's charging, but after hours to even days of leaving it plugged in, it still has no battery. Itunes can't find the iPod, Windows can't find it either. It won't reset because it won't let me turn it completely off, because it doesn't have enough battery life to do that, but like I said, won't charge. I've tried multiple charging chords and none have worked. Please help!

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
