My MacBook Pro keeps telling me to change the battery. I am wondering how much would it cost for the battery? My MacBook pro mid 2012 model and I just want to know how to get around to do it. Is it easy to change the battery or is it better for me to bring my MacBook pro to Apple for them to do it?

Apple will not sell you just a battery directly. They will insist that they or an Apple Authorized Service Provider install it for you. I do not know what the price will be in Denmark. You will have to check locally.

The NewerTech battery option is a good if you live US local but US postal service will not accept these batteries. Living in Australia I can get same battery but costs about 50% more.
Hello if you take it to Apple Genius bar they will charge you £102 or if you buy it and replace it by your self from Amazon or Ebay its cost you just £20.
I brought mine in last week (same model and year as yours), and it was around 180 and took about 20 minutes for them to install the new battery. Works great now!
