Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It seems like you're not given the option to back up your iPhone when going to Settings > iCloud.
If you can't choose "Back Up Now," make sure your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network and is connected to power, as mentioned in Get help backing up your device in iCloud.
This support article goes over a few other scenarios and their solutions that may apply if you're connected to Wi-Fi and power but still can't back up your iPhone.
