Trashcan cannot be opened

Hi All,

I encounter this issue, the following are some related description

1. Trashcan cannot be opened

2. While click on it, it keeps popping out dialog window saying "You can not open "trash" because being emptied "trash."

3. Macbook pro with Mac OS x 10.10.3

How can I fix this problem?

Relaunch the Finder, then from the Finder menu bar, select

Finder ▹ Preferences... ▹ Advanced

and uncheck the box marked

Empty Trash securely

Try again to empty the Trash.
