i am already using the group and everyone is able to see the calendar entries. what im facing is, the alerts are not propagated across all the devices.

what i actually meant was "alert" aka "alarm" like 2hours before event time.
the notification in the article refers to a pop up saying "Asakura added <go to the zoo> on Saturday" something like that.

I think this post has the answer - each user has to set their own alert.
