I've decided to restore my iPhone to lessen the "Other" section. I decided to not use a back up because otherwise the excessive amount of "other" would still be there, and I was wondering if i could sync my notes from my Macbook Pro?

Q: Can I sync my notes from my macbook pro to a new iPhone?
I am remembering something about this from when my wife bought an upgrade iPhone last year. Notes are strange and are actually related to e-mails. I think they can't be transferred by syncing. I do remember we backed up and restored from backup. Here's an older post about excessive 'other' and how to handle it. Note it says to e-mail notes to yourself.
