Q: I continue to have the message that my start up disc is full.

I continue to have the message that my start up disc is full. I have moved most of my documents to an external hard drive. When I look at System Information under the Storage tab, most of what is taking up space is classified as "Other". What is that?

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Hi. First thing i would try - empty th etrashCheck this article:
