Does Apple sell original spare parts for iPhone5?

I bought my iPhone a year and half ago from a shop in Bulgaria. Last month yellow spots appeared on the screen and I brought the phone to the shop for replacement as I have a 2-years warranty. The shop decided to "repair" my phone instead and they changed the screen. The shop said that the new screen is original. I don't believe that Apple sell spare parts so I want to know how can I get an official statement from Apple and prove the shop that they have not used an original screen.

iPhone 5s, iOS 8

Can you please explain how "Apple unauthorised" repair shops can replace parts and say its a new part? I just had my 5s screen replaced at iRepair here in Toronto. The screen has a slight shade at the top which bugs me. iRepair.ca is not Apple authurized and as you say, they should not have any genuine parts. Did they give me some chinese fake part or used part from another broken phone? Ive been trying to find this info for few days with mo luck. Because i think i also meed a new battery but i dont want to go back to them.

That's easy. They lie. The only possible sources for parts are parts salvaged from other phones, stolen parts, or counterfeit parts.

Unfortunately, if you need a new battery, your only option now is to go to an unauthorized 3rd party and take your chances. Apple won't touch your phone now that it's been opened by an unauthorized party.

MInd boggling how these companies operate so openly and never get in trouble. my 5s is old and banged up, my aunt's old phone that she gave me so i could use it if i could get it repaired. I guess whole $160 was wasted. Do i put another $50+ in this to make it a decent phone now? What if another bad part is draining battery too much? Who can confirm that? Sad.
