Also, you are struck with Snow Leopard unless you upgrade the processor. If you do that then you can go to Lion

Jun 25, 2015 10:35 AM in response to iant3745by iant3745,Oh yes, got it, sorry. I will just install a new version of 10.6.8, at least then I can format the hard drive and own the Admin password at last. Then I can hopefully install Adobe reader and Elements. Thanks for your help.
