Riding in Golf Cart Apple Watch records as Steps??

After multiple rounds of golf with the Apple Watch I have noticed that "riding" in a Golf Cart records Steps under Total Steps and in Miles under Total Distance?..

This seems strange as riding in a car or truck does not seem to record the same way..

Has anyone else noticed or confirmed this?

Hi

Some other users have reported experiencing similar issues when travelling at slower speeds via methods other than walking or running (for example: riding in golf carts, on mopeds or on horses).

It may help to calibrate your watch:

Dear Bob,

I can only confirm that the apple watch does think you are actually walking/running everytime you use a Golf Cart.

Did did you find a way to solve the problem, I work at a golf course, so I would like to know what are my correct consuming levels rather having to calculate how much time I have spent on a Cart, it distorts my goals, etc

Please do let me know if you find a solution.

Best regards,

Paul
