I want to make a copy of the contents in a flash drive and save it on another flash drive. I have a lot of photos on the first flash drive and have named them all. I do not want to have to go back and rename them again. I just want to clone the contents from the first to the second flash drive.

Plug both flash drives into USB ports on your computer. Then do this:
Clone using Restore Option of Disk Utility
1. Open Disk Utility in the Utilities folder.
2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
4. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag
it to the Destination entry field.
5. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to
the Source entry field.
6. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the empty flash drive. Source means the flash drive with your data.
Be sure that the target flash drive has been properly formatted for the Mac.

This helped me a lot. Thank you. All I had to do was select the drive in the Finder, on the left side, select the files I want to copy and moved them by dragging to the new flash drive. Clone using Restore Option of Disk Utility was a little more difficult and I got a error 254.
Drag the folder containing the photos to the second flash drive.
Cloning the drive can be done by choosing Utilities from the Finder's Go menu, opening the Disk Utility, and using the Restore function, but generally is only needed when moving a Mac OS X system between partitions or drives.

To clarify, I have 2 USB ports and I should place the one with the photos and one blank one in and just drag the photos from one to the other? Not sure how to do that or from where. Your answer helped me the most. It was simple. I just went to finder, selected the source drive, selected the files I wanted to move and dragged them to the erased/formated destination drive. Thank you
