Q: I just bought a new 27" retina 5k iMac and it will connect to my AppleTV via itunes, BUT it will NOT mirror my desktop anymore... it did at first, but stopped... the screen on my tv just turns black like it's on but you cant see anything. :(

I just bought a new 27" retina 5k iMac and it will connect to my AppleTV via itunes, BUT it will NOT mirror my desktop anymore... it did at first, but stopped... the screen on my tv just turns black like it's on but you cant see anything.

 

- Im on the SAME wi-fi network

- i have ALL the latest updates on my imac and the apple tv

- I can access the computer with the itunes on my imac, and home sharing from apple tv... but i CAN NOT MIRROR the desktop anymore.

- The selection to mirror when it's "connected" doesnt work.. it just goes back to "extended desktop" in the settings from the icon in the menu above right corner.

Apple TV, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
