Can someone access my IMEI number If they hacked my wifi?

I have an iPhone 6 that is not jailbroken. I had a windows computer which was compromised recently. 😟

I'm not sure if my wifi was hacked or it was hacked through the computer itself. I know people will say that nobody would want to do that, but they have.

I suspect that they hacked me through the wifi because, after the hack i changed my gmail password through my iPhone, and after that they had logged in using new devices into my account. The virus also attempted to Remotely access my computer back then.

I have now changed computers & i'm using a Mac now. While i've enabled 2 step verification on all my emails and accounts, I'm worried that the hacker might have gained access to my information remotely using the wifi. I know it is possible to use whatsapp on 2 devices if someone gains access to IMEI & MAC wifi address.

My question is, Can they get my IMEI information of my Wifi compromised? What about Media Access Control address?

If they can, they will changing my number stop the hack or will i have to change my entire device?

Nope. IMEI data isn't involved in a WiFi connection. It's used for cellular networks.

What about Media Access Control address?

MAC addresses are your device's network fingerprints (in a sense). Any network you join and the other devices (people too) on that network can see your fingerprint (if they care to look). This is normal and expected as without them being able to see your fingerprint, there would be no way to get information routed back to you (Websites, emails, streaming music, etc.)

Someone knowing your MAC address does not allow them to hack into your device. As mentioned above, it's easily accessible information whether they are on your WiFi network or not (if they know how to find it and care to look for it). To change your MAC address you'd need to replace your entire device. It's built-in. But again, not necessary.
