Q: How to prevent Final Cut Pro 10.2.1 keyframes from shifting when adjusting duration of 'hold' on imported animation?

To fit the imported animation into the narration/music party on my timeline I've been using the speed adjustment and the 'hold'. It works great until I need to adjust the portion of the clip that's been 'held' and that portion contains keyframes.

The adjustment causes the keyframes to move, usually toward the head of the clip and sometime they even mix themselves up so that simply sliding them down into place isn't an option.

I thought of using a freeze frame instead of a hold and will try that but wondered if there might be a solution to the above anyway.

thx
