Q: Boot camp : Error occurred while partitioning the disk, and Bash-3.2#
Hi guys, I'm not really good with technicalities with computers so please help me..
I'm trying to install a windows 7 boot camp to my Macbook Pro 13" (mid 2012), Running in OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 using Boot Camp Assistant
But many others it says "Error occurred while partitioning the disk"
Tried Rebooting, and pressing command +S like this link :
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/bootcamp-assistant-cannot-partition/
and this forum :
"an error occurred while partitioning the disk"
Tried sorts of Rebooting and Repairing...still nothing...
another thing, is that while i tried the command +S, then "/sbin/fsck -fy"
the words appearing were not like those i saw from this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmdsLfLAO20
Where in the last line shows: "root",
while in my case it shows : "Bash-3.2#"
Tried the /sbin/fsck -fy, and didn't work....wondering if this Bash-3.2 has something to do with it....
Anyway I just need the windows on my Mac...dunno bout this bash thing...
Please help!...thanks!
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
