Thanks. I had tried that before but it hadn't worked but this time it did. Now if I can delete all the contacts I'll be good. When I try to reset all settings it is asking for the RESTRICTIONS passcode and I never set it and don't know the code. Ughhh
Thanks. For some reason on this iPhone and also on my brand new iPhone 6 there is a restrictions passcode set that I did NOT set and I don't know the passcode so I cant reset the entire phone. Why do they do this?
The restriction passcode can not set itself. You, or someone with physical access to the phone had to set it. If you can't remember what it is, you'll have to force the phone into recovery mode and restore it as a new device. You can not restore your backup or the restriction settings will be restored as well. If you set up your new phone from a backup of the old one, that's why it has the restrictions set on it. They were set up on the old one and transferred to the new one via the backup.
