Q: iDVD is not showing any available photo media.  How do I fix this problem?

I am trying to create a project in iDVD.  I'd like to add photos to the drop zones.  However, the Photos panel is empty.  For some reason it can't access my Photos library.  Please help...

iDVD '08, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

iDVD 7 is not compatible with 10.10.3 and the new Photos app.  You'll have to export the photos/videos, etc, to a folder on the Desktop and from there into iDVD menu's drop zone frames.

    Thanks for your answer.

I find it ridiculous the way apple has broken this functionality. It seems that they are breaking more and more things that I use... (I even login to this site to complain).

You have to remember that iDVD was put out to pasture over 2 years ago by Apple. It's a wonder that it's working as well as it is with Yosemite.

I have an bootable external HD with Mavericks for those projects that I want to create with iDVD and iMovie 6 HD, which is the best combination of iDVD and iMovie ever for creating video DVDs.
