Q: When manually adding songs to my iPhone 4s, iTunes says "Richard's iPhone cannot be found" even though it shows in iTunes.

I am using iTunes 12.1.2.27 and an iPhone 4S. I have the phone set to manually manage music. When trying to copy songs from my library to the iPhone, an error message comes up saying the phone cannot be found. Yet the phone does show up in iTunes. I never had these problems when I used a Mac, only on my windows laptop. Any ideas out there?
