I am putting together a windows computer which I would like to use with my Apple Thunderbolt Display.
Before I commit to my specs though I would like to know if an Apple Thunderbolt Display can be work with a non-Apple computer (i.e a Windows PC)?
I appreciate any advise you gurus out there can offer.

Hi, there are motherboards that have Thunderbolt ports however am I right in saying that this means that you are channelling all your graphics processing through the onboard GPU which means that you get no benefit from the dedicated GPU?
I cant find any windows GPU's with thunderbolt ports.
You'll need to check with the PC manufacturers for details.
I would appreciate any recommendations from people on the forum regarding which motherboard I should be looking at, or alternatively, if there are any decent GPU's with Thunderbolt ports. I want something with grunt and have been looking at GTX-970 or GTX-980.
