It was working in the morning. And it won't turn on all of a sudden.
Apple store wants $250 to get an exchange for a refurb.
My iPad mini Retina is 14 months old. 2 months out of warranty period. 😟
My wife's iPad 1 worked for over 5 years.
I don't want to spend $250........ it *****.
It is a 16GB Verizon LTE version.

Have you tried a reboot press & hold power button
& menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo
This can take upto 30 seconds

Try to reset the iPad:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
Note that it may take a few resets to get the device restarted.

Is the battery charged? Charge the battery with the cable and charger that came with the device for a few hours and try again.
