credit card name/account name
My dad's credit card is connected to my account, and the account has his name, can I change it to use my own name on it? or would that be a problem bc of card owner and account owner being different

You can change the payment method associated with your Apple ID by following the directions in this article -
Change or remove your Apple ID payment information in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
You can edit information about the Apple ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com. Select Manage your Apple ID and enter the Apple ID and password. If you want to change the name, click the Edit link to the right of Your Name.
