TMobile IPhone 5s got the "Blue Screen of Death", now touchscreen isn't working?

A few days ago, my phone began to randomly turn blue and restart itself, as a lot of TMobile IPhone users are experiencing right now. That went away after a few hours and I didn't have any problems until last night. My touchscreen would stop working occasionally, and got worse over time. Once it got worse, my phone screen would get little "scan lines"-- Tiny and very faint pixelated lines that ran vertically and horizontally throughout my screen. I've already tried turning off WiFi calls and my LTE data, as most people say this can fix the problem, but no luck. I really don't want to do a factory reset because my iCloud can't be backed up due to my storage. Is my touchscreen problem related to the problem a lot of TMobile users are experiencing? Is there a way to fix it?

Hi itskirsten888,

It sounds like you are having issues with lines all over your screen. I would recommend the troubleshooting in the following article:

Get help with the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you see lines, missing sections, discoloration, or poor image quality

  1. Try to restart your device. If you can't restart, reset your device.
  2. If restarting or resetting doesn’t fix the issue, restore your device.
  3. If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.

If you need to you can also backup your phone to iTunes:
