I was told by a rep at local store that iOS 8.3 was supposed to have fixed this earlier issue. 8.3 WOULD NOT INSTALL on my phone update ran for 3 days! Finally took to store - they installed update - but screen locking/ freezing in landscape is a constant daily thing again, why?

If I understand correctly, the screen on your iPhone 6 will occasionally get stuck in landscape mode and stop rotating as expected. If you haven’t already, take a look at the article linked below and try running through the troubleshooting suggestions that it provides.

huh? no help still locked and iOS 9.1 (assuming including the fix) keeps failing with "Timed out" error... again... huh?
