You need an external modem. The base station doesn't include one.

I have a netgear AT&T modem . My iPhone keeps loosing connection I keep inputting the password says it is incorrect I am definitely putting in the right password. I thought maybe the airport would help?
You have an iPhone issue with corrupted network settings. A new AirPort won't help that.
