Hi Smith-Katie,


It sounds like you are able to start the restore process but it stops for some reason. I would start wiht the troubleshooting in the following article:


Resolve iOS update and restore errors in iTunes


If that does not resolve the issue, and you are getting an error number, then use this article to find the number and follow the steps for that number:
