Just some questions

My Iphone 5s was stolen in Lagos Nigeria, i tried locating the device with icloud and it's most recent location shown up in Boardman, OR, USA*. Now my fear goes thus; if i erase my device remotely, i hope i won't loose my previously backed up data like pictures and contacts on icloud. And again, if someone take a photograph with my iphone, will the person's picture still backup and display on my icloud account?

Hello Demmy7070,

If I understand correctly your phone was stolen and youre concerned that the backed up data will be removed from iCloud if you erase the device remotely. No, that will not happen. The iCloud backup is separate from your content on your phone. I would also recommend you take a look at this article for more information about what to do in this situation:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen
