I have a non apple email address that I've been using for fifteen years.
I want to be able to send and receive emails using my apple account, but, with the email address being my legacy, non Apple email address, that I've been using for over 15 years.
Up until now, I've been using MS Outlook until my laptop crashed 2 days ago. I want to go fully cloud with emails.
iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.3

I'm not very tech savvy.
The link you provided seems to be for setting up on a Mac.
Unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem (I inadvertently clicked the wrong button above).
Is there a way to set this up in iCloud?

Appologies, you mentioned Outlook in your post so I assumed you were attempting to setup Mail on a Mac.
