Q: Network printing only works when I reset network on printer each time

Shortly after upgrading to Time Capsule as our main base station, we are having trouble printing to our networked printers.

We have 2 HP printers, one is a HP Photosmart C6180 which is connected to the network via wifi.  The second printer is a HP Photosmart 5520 which is connected to a networked Airport Extreme via USB.

In the case of the C6180, the printer is detected (as evidenced by its name and a green circle in the Printers & Scanners section of System Preferences), but when I try to print anything in any application, the light immediately turns yellow and in the Printer Proxy, it says "The printer is not connected."  And the job just hangs at that point.  In order for me to actually print the job, I need to go to the printer and go into the Wireless Setup Wizard, select the network and enter the wifi password.  Then it prints, but I need to do this every time I want to print something.

We have a similar problem with the other printer, though in some cases, we cannot find it at all on the network.

We never had any such problems before upgrading to Time Capsule.

I have tried resetting the printing system in the OS and restoring all settings on the printer to factory.  Nothing works.

Oh and one more thing.  Not only are we experiencing this problem with both of our networked printers, but the problem exists in sending jobs from both my desktop iMac as well as my wife's macbook pro.

Anyone have a similar problem and/or a possible solution?

I am going to try to connect one of the printers directly to my iMac via USB to see if that works.  But, again, everything used to work fine pre- Time Capsule.

Airport Time Capsule 802.11ac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
