Add mapping curtain disappearing from inspector

I have the same problem happening on my macbook and on my mac pro (both mid 2010). I thought that it could be because the machines were to old to work properly with Yosemite, so I cleaned them up and installed Mavericks again, but same problem as I add controllers.

The really weird is that when I make the control setups and assignments, it works fine, and then while working with it, it gradually gets worse, until the button disappears completely.

Also, there's a similar problem in the Layout mode, the Group etc button disappears gradually, then completely.:
