Has anyone imported their Aperture library into Lightroom 6?

Aperture stopped working with my move to Yosemite. I've heard that Apple has recommended Lightroom for those looking a pro app. My question is about importing your Aperture library. Has anyone done this? How did that go? Looks like it copies all your pics and puts them in a standard file system layout (folders, not in some Apple "library". Just as an aside, I also have an iPhoto library. Can you import both your Aperture and iPhoto libraries into a common area?
