I am unable to find Podcats on my iPad Air 2. All other Apple Apps are installed. If I search for it on App Store, it shows up with 'open' option, but nothing happens. Unable to find it with 'search' for Podcats on the iPad, nor within iTunes. I have tried a reinstall, even a recovery update. has it been removed from iPads, no information on it being removed on the internet.
Is there a fix for this!?

No I have not. I have turned to other apps. I have searched the internet for ideas to fix it. Done a complete reinstall of the iOS; but still the same. App Store offers open Podcast, but it does not work. iTunes does not see it. So I'm using a different app.
I Also have this problem. I have the same issue in my iPod touch. The app appears in itunes as installed and in the storage list but the icon is not present on the home screen and if I click the open app link found via the App Store nothing happens. I did a factory reset and restore on the IPod touch but this had no effect.
I also have issue on my phone. Seemed to have occurred after update to 8.4. Began having rapid battery drain after that update too
