Using 10.9.5 and firefox as browser. Would like to know how to print a paragraph only from a page

You can copy and paste the paragraph from a Safari window into a new Text Edit document then print from there.

OS X cannot print just a selected paragraph in a browser page. But there are third-party printing utilities that can print only a selection. Look for them at MacUpdate.

I think printing a selection has been available since 10.8, but highlight the text you want and then hit print.

Make sure the Print Selection Only is selected and then PDF > Preview for a visibility check.

Firefox, perhaps, but not in Safari.
