Keyboard F keys doesn't workworks

I have a very big problem and I am not able solve. Maybe some of you know how to help me.

I Have a iMac since middle of 2012 with Yosemite updated.

MY Keyboard, the original keyboard from Apple, has always workEd very well but some months ago it changed. The F keys doesn't work (F1, F2, f3, I can't use mission control and brightness throught these).

in theory, the preferences about the keyboard are correct and I have tried to reset de keyboard using terminal: Library/Preferences/com.apple.keyboardtype.plist

it answer: no such file or directory. I don't know what I have to do!!!

Hi Atancito,

If your keyboard's function keys (f1, f2, etc) are not acting as you expect, it is possible that the keys have been set to use as standard function keys. You can change this in System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard tab, unchecking the Use all F1, F2... checkbox. See this article on the use of function keys -

OS X Mountain Lion: Use keyboard function keys
