Make Console window open maximized

I've searched for but haven't found a Terminal command to make the Console window open full-size like it did in Mavericks, NOT full-screen.

When opening Console in Yosemite, it opens a small window and I must hold the Option key while clicking the green resize button....EVERY TIME!

What an asinine move by Apple to make this important window open so small you can't read an entire line! 👿

So I'm posting here in the hope that someone has found a solution for this defect.

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.3.x)

Well I don't remember how it worked on Mavericks. Seems like you could leave it open or leave in full Screen mode.

It could be a corrupt plist. Quit the app and Try deleting the com.apple.Console.plist. In Finder shift command G and copy and paste

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Console.plist
