There is a post under the support communities which I posted a long time ago (2006) which I would like to delete. However, I'm not sure what email address I had associated with the account. I've tried two of my previous ones, but neither of them were associated with it.
Is there someone who would be able to tell me what the ID is or the email address so I can recover it with the security questions?

You cannot delete an Apple ID nor can you delete posts from the forums. No one here can tell you what any or your old Apple IDs are. You might see:
Your Apple ID
3. Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses - Apple Support
I will ask one of the hosts to make contact with you directly. Perhaps they can help.
I doubt anyone has much interest in reviewing 9 year old posts, but I'll assume there is something personal that you'd rather didn't remain there. However it will long since have been cached by search engines, web archive, etc. Stable door and all that.

thanks! i appreciate it. i would just need either the apple id or email address and i can answer the security questions i had made. someone at apple has to be able to see the associated info.

Is there a reason why you would like to delete this post after nine years? I could ask a host to remove it if you can remember anything like the name.
Thanks, that would be great. I just used my real name for the display name on it, and it is one of the first things that comes up in Google search results when I search for my name. There isn't anything bad or wrong with the posts at all, but I would just prefer it not be there at all anymore, or at least not one of the first things that shows up.
I just remembered, however, that you would need the Apple ID linked with the account you made the post with. Otherwise, there would be no proof that the post was yours. So reporting it would do no good 😕

No, we are all users here that aren't getting paid by Apple. I don't know what the hosts could do for you either.
A nine year old thread would be well and truly buried deep beneath all the posts since then. I wouldn't be concerned.

Unless we are talking to a major celebrity here, I doubt people would search your name and find the thread (much less click on it). Even if they did, I doubt it would be much of a risk. If they are already searched your name, they would already know it.

Was it of such importance that it would come up early in a Google search?????/ Can't be too important if you can't remember what it was about.

I remember what it was about and have the link to it. It isn't important at all. Just trying to retrieve a bit of anonymity online.
It is clear that you do not understand... the "cat is out of the bag" - permanently!
Look for the little green "down arrow" in Google search results = 'cached' & 'similar' are handy
Cached = an archived snapshot that is there forever
Some consolation concerning ASC == the Wayback Machine cannot archive your Bio page

If any one was wishing to exploit your online anonymity, then one would presume they may have already done so in the last nine years.
