How find and open migrated iphoto library in photo

OK, I finally got sick of the constant "upgrade now" message pop ups, so I upgraded my mac to OS X Yosemite V 10.10.3

I go to work on a project using iphoto and kablam its gone! I find ALL MY photos previously very happy in iphoto are gone!

All I get when I try and open them is a message box that says "oh your iphotos are already "migrated" to photo.... only when i look in "photo" nothing!

OK somebody help. I can see the folder in the finder that says iphoto Library but it won't open and it is greyed out when I try and get to it from photo

How do i get my previously happily stored iphoto's back?
