Can't download a movie from iCloud

Bought a movie on my Ipad and trying to download it to my Mac desktop. Itunes say I have to authorize my Mac to do this and can't find out how to do that. Said to go to the Apple store and there is nothing I can find that talks about authorizing my computer to download.

How do I get the movie downloaded to my Mac and authorize my Mac to do it?
