Anyone have an Apple Watch Overheat and Burn You?

I picked up my watch and Friday and was sitting in my car initializing it when i noticed the edges were warm to the touch. Didn't think anything of it at first, but the case kept getting hotter and hotter. I put it back into the box and back to the Apple store and told them what happened. One of the employees touched the watch and it basically burned him; his finger started to blister. I have a small burn on back of my wrist from the case too. This could be a big problem if is a common occurrence because it heats up so fast it catches you by surprise. It was as hot a pan on the stove. I got a different watch that works fine. Just wondered if anyone else had encounter this problem?

I have had a similar issue. I have been wearing my apple watch for about four month. I was wearing it all day, fell asleep with it on in the evening and when I went to take it off it felt like it was attached to my skin. I had a red mark which felt like a burn the size of a quarter on my wrist. It is not the band but the actual watch where the sensor are. The next morning I woke up to a blister where the red mark was the night before. I went to apple and they reported they never heard of this and would have to escalate it to a higher level. Someone would contact me in the next 24 hours but it is a weekend so probably not until Monday. This is the first time that I have had the store not take care of the issue and basically made me feel like I was lying. They reported that they could see it visually in the paperwork but did not go beyond that. I am disappointed because in the past I have always said that Apple has great customer service and really cares about their customers. I am not sure why they would be different on the apple watch than they are on the iPhones.
