i purchased the BMPCC ... i am noticing when i import clips from sd in the last version of FCPX i cannot set IN and OUT of the clips.
I tried in another mac's FCPX... same problem.
OS X version is 10.10.3
fcpx version is 10.2.1
last bmpcc firmware
sd formatted in camera
do you guys have had the same issue??

Because they are already QT files. FCPX, for whatever reason Apple has for it, only allows import of ranges from a "camera card". Anything from a "hard drive" (i.e. QT file) won't allow for range selection during import. Since Blackmagic cameras record QT files, FCPX sees them as just hard drive QT files.
What Ben said. Andreas Kiel at spherico.com has a Virtual Camera utility that will allow you to make drive files appear as a camera card. allowing selections on any media.
Thank you i tried but with Virtual Cam Utility i have to copy a whole sd content (sometimes many gb) to create a disk readable as camera disk by FCPX.
Is there a way, instead, to connect via usb The Black Magic Poket Camera and have it recognized by fcpx ???
